| "From my childhood in rural North Carolina, for me and many of my young friends, we dreamed of what the astronauts saw when they went into space. We watched Alan Shepard and Senator John Glenn crawl into the capsule from the clean room and I so wanted to know where they went. I never dreamed I would be blessed to see it for myself one day." |

Capt. Brady can demonstrate the importance of individual achievement built within a teamwork environment. Learn just what it takes to keep Blue Angels pilots flying with three feet clearance from the canopy of one F/A 18 Fighter jet to the wingtip of his wingman. Capt. Brady can present the true meaning of trust in your team by relating the feeling of putting your very life in the hands of talented professionals. These individuals do their work on earth so the medical skills like that of Dr. Brady can be used to advance science by doing very important medical experiments while in space. |
"I have always considered it to be an honor to be a doctor and serve people. It has also been an honor to serve my country in the United States Navy. Flying and serving with the Blue Angels and then flying in space as an astronaut were incredibly wondrous moments in my life. Only the birth of my son exceeds these as the greatest moments in my life. When I first looked out the window into God's universe, I was humbled down to a cellular level. I believe in my heart that what I saw should have been seen by someone of great spiritual reflection like the Pope, Billy Graham, the Dalai Lama, Martin Luther King or someone who had spent their life in deep spiritual and philosophical reflection, not me. I remember things like flying upside down with the Blue Angels over Seattle and the beauty of the Earth as like a living entity and as pure as a child's heart." |

"I have been so fortunate and honored to serve with two of the greatest teams on earth, the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron "Blue Angels" and the United States Astronaut Corp. I deeply believe that because of the camaraderie and constant striving for perfection on these teams, each of us as individuals were brought to a much higher level of achievement and technical and emotional proficiency. There is nothing in my professional life that I believe in more than the Team Approach. I hope to inspire others with these concepts." |
